My Story

When I was about 9 years old I started designing my first interfaces, these were inspired by the pear phones they used to have in iCarly and Victorious. They sparked a curiousity in me that stayed throughout my years. This slowely turned into a fascination with Apple and it's products.

I became really interested in what really drives these products; the digital experiences (apps, websites, operating systems, etc). First this manifested itself in drawings but through the wonders of the web I started learning how to use Adobe's apps and began creating my first UI redesigns. The passion diversified into creating brand identities, posters, album covers, etc.

I think that turning your passion into a carreer is the best thing one can do, and I am doing just that.

My Design Philosophy

If I think about what drives me as a designer I think about the way I felt when my curiousity was sparked as a kid. The way that design made me excited and created a need for me to use that product. In my design I try to implement this feeling.

In a world that has largely shifted to flat and basic design, I am interested more than ever in doing the opposite. That is not to say that I hate flat design, every sort of design has it's place and time. But I feel like there's a lot of space for more exciting and intriguing interfaces that capture the imagination!
